Many inquiries come in everyday and ask the same questions. First is always how much do our custom seamless dance floors cost? The second question is how long does it take to install? And the third question is what is the process? So, I have decided to dedicate this blog to these three questions.
First, how much do Platinum Pro‘s custom seamless dance floors cost? This question is a bit tricky. Our floors are customized to each and every event, never using the same graphics twice, as no two weddings are the same. Sure there are similarities, and prospect clients like the look of other clients floors. Our graphics artist may use or pull aspects of one design and end up creating a whole new design for another client. Most of the time clients come to us with an invitation that they had a calligrapher create, or they have graphics that they designed. Others come with a general idea of what they want to do and allow our graphics team to come up with the rest. Our dance floors are all inclusive, typically having a certain square footage per floor that includes the graphics, tax, delivery, set up and tear down. The floor cost is based on the color the client wishes to go with, the complexity of the design, the size of the dance floor, the location, and lastly the amount of time that will go into laying the floor. Additional square footage for graphics also plays a role in the cost.
Which brings us to the second question, how long does it take to install? Platinum Pro always budgets for two hours for all floors. The larger the floor is, the more time it will take. If the client decides to do a full graphics dance floor, Platinum Pro will need a full six hours. The floors take two Platinum Pro team members to install minimum, sometimes for the more complex floors three or four people.
Lastly, is what it the process for our dance floors? From the beginning, the client inquires. They will get a reply within 24 hours of their inquiry. Platinum Pro takes pride in their customer service and every email or phone call inquiry is valued. A response email will ask you some very in depth questions that will help us to provide the client with an estimate. Questions seen below.

Having the above information is vital. Once we have this information, an estimate will be sent out. If approved upon, client will then need to sign and return a contract with a 10% deposit. At this point, Platinum Pro can then begin to work on graphics and mocks for a dance floor. An example of a client that booked Platinum Pro’s dance floor is below.

Then our graphics team took the images submitted and drew up a mock for the client. The mock can take anywhere from one or up to 6 different designs to be approved upon. Platinum Pro will email the client a mock up displayed below. If approved, the client will need to sign, date and return the mock via email.
Once this process is complete, Platinum Pro will only need to communicate with the coordinator for set up and tear down times. The client will get a reminder email that final payment is dues two weeks prior to the wedding or event. Platinum Pro must have an approval on a dance floor mock 2 weeks prior to the wedding or event. If Platinum Pro is hired late, we still will need one week to prep for the dance floor. The graphic artist has to then change the files into new images that can be used for our machines to print and cut the designs. We also will have to bring in supplies such as the color of the dance floor, and prepping the floor to be laid at the event. When all tasks have been completed, the client will then see their amazing custom seamless dance floor at their wedding or event.
